“The Dahl House” is a historic, charming guest cottage that is immaculate and newly remodeled with period furnishings. The house, built in the 1930s , was owned by Norwegian immigrants to Bosque County, John and Ingveline Dahl. Interestingly, the materials used to build the house include petrified wood, granite and marble from the Bosque County area.

The fully furnished house accommodates 2-4 adults comfortably, with an additional full sized air mattress suitable for children. The large master bedroom has a newly purchased king size bed, and the living room features a new queen sized sofa sleeper. Other features include a washer and dryer, completely equipped kitchen with microwave, and a covered car port. Dish TV provided in each room. Large shady back yard for the kids. Coffee, hot chocolate,water, soft drinks provided.

“The Dahl House” is available for weekends, or on a weekly basis, with very reasonable rates. It is located within a two minute distance to excellent local restaurants, historic downtown Main Street and many community activities. A complete list of things to do, sights to see, and places to eat will be provided upon your arrival to our unique city!
